Summary

"Occult Chemistry: Clairvoyant Observations on the Chemical Elements" by Annie Besant and others is a peculiar book from the beginning of the 1900s that mixes science with spiritual ideas. It looks at the tiny parts of elements, like hydrogen, in a new way, using what the authors say are special mind powers to see them. The book tells about experiments where one of the authors looked closely at different elements, finding really detailed shapes that seemed to match the elements' weights, as understood by scientists at the time. The book makes observations that, guided by an editor, tries to link spiritual views with normal science, hinting that maybe science and spiritualism could team up to learn more about the world.
