Summary

"The Dingo Boys: The Squatters of Wallaby Range" by George Manville Fenn is a gripping tale of a British family's emigration to Australia in the late 1800s. Seeking a fresh start, Captain Bedford, his wife, their daughters, and three adventurous young cousins bravely set foot in Port Haven, ready to build a new life. Their initial apprehension turns to excitement when they meet Shanter, a mysterious Aboriginal man. Shanter initially makes the adults feel uneasy, but quickly becomes a trusted companion. Readers are drawn into the family's ambitions, relationships, and the trials they face as they venture into the wild, unknown Australian landscape.
